1- Calcined Dolomite

One of the min mineral which we export all around the world is Calcined Dolomite

Dolomite is one of our major sources for the concrete so essential to modern society’s road and building infrastructure. Crystals of dolomite are common in hydrothermal vein deposits and in sedimentary rocks, where they fill pores in their host rock.

We as a trading company would like to inform you our services include supply both Calcined and Hydrated. To meet our customer’s inquiries we can transfer your request through Jumbo bags.

Calcined Dolomite

Dead-burned dolomite is produced when dolomite is calcined at very high temperatures. It is used both as a refractory product in granular form to repair linings and for making the bricks used in the refractory linings of casting ladles and cement kilns.

Uses:

In the chemical industry, dolomite is used as a source of magnesia (MgO). The steel industry uses dolomite as a sintering agent in processing iron ore and as a flux in the production of steel. In steelmaking, both quicklime and calcined dolomite are used as a flux and slag conditioner and to prevent the steel from oxidising. This process also collects impurities that are damaging to the steel. Calcined dolomite also protects the refractory lining of the steel furnace, oxygen converter and ladle furnace. In agriculture, dolomite is used as a soil conditioner and as a feed additive for livestock. Dolomite is used in the production of glass and ceramics. Dolomite has been used as a minor source of magnesium, but today most magnesium is produced from other sources.

2-Hydrated Dolomite

High-calcium hydrated lime Ca(OH)2 is a dry powder produced by combining quicklime with a sufficient amount of water to satisfy the quicklime’s natural affinity for moisture. The process converts CaO to Ca(OH)2.

Uses:

High calcium hydrated lime is one of the most effective reagents for acid neutralization and pH adjustment. These characteristics along with the presence of calcium assists in the removal of a wide variety of contaminants from water to improve the quality and keep customers and the environment safe.

Hydrated lime is used in a variety of industrial applications including water treatment, as an anti-stripping agent in asphalt, and in soil stabilization. Some hydrated limes are sold into the food-grade market as well.

3- Ferrosilicon

Ferrosilicon is used in the steel industry as a deoxidize element in Steel, In the manufacture of cast iron, ferrosilicon is used for inoculation of the iron to accelerate graphitization one of the raw materials for the production of magnesium ingots and some ferroalloys such as magnesium and Ferrosilicon magnesium.

In physical and solid format, it is silver. The melting temperature is 1290-1390° C. Its specific weight 2.5-5.4 g/m3. It is used as additive in the cast and steel industries.

It is shattered and non-flammable .There is no self – immolation and transportation should be carried out on the basis of the rules of chemical handling. The dust of this material creates a burning for the lungs and the mucus. Contact with skin and eye will cause an itchy scalp. Using protective glasses and masks and most importantly protective mask based on EN 149 FFP and appropriate ventilation is required at the workplace. In case of contact skin and eye washing with plenty of water is required and in the face of inhaling problem, transfer injured one to the open air.
